Tempe has declared war on senor citizens who are homeless.
If you are a homeless senor citizen you are certainly not welcome at the Tempe Senor Center which is in the Tempe government complex with the Tempe Library on Rural Road & Southern Avenue. Inside and outside the restrooms, both men's and woman's restroom are signs that say: The following is not permitted in this facility:It look's like the hateful government nanny who works at the Tempe Senor Center really stretched the words of the law to post their signs which declare war on homeless senor citizens. The law very clearly says it only applies to parks in Tempe. Last time I checked the Senor Center was not a park. The law says: (a) The following activities are prohibited in all city parks, unless otherwise posted:The laws then goes on to say: (5) No person shall use any water source at any city park or city-owned property for swimming or bathing, animal swimming or bathing, washing clothes, cleaning fish or other unsanitary activities, except at places designated for such activities;Of course that is stretching things to an extreme! Any reasonable person, except a government nanny that hates homeless senor citizens would assume that the wash basins in a bathroom are for things like washing your hands and brushing your teeth. Here are photos of the signs which are hung in, around and near the restrooms in the Tempe Senor Center: |
